Split the Bill is Myra Dirnfeld and Elisa Geliebter, who have been singing together for 10 years. Originally from Brooklyn and the Bronx respectively, they now both live in Saugerties, NY in the Hudson River Valley.   Even though Elisa and Myra's musical backgrounds are different, they understood almost immediately that they shared a deep musical bond. Myra's major influences were Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin. Elisa's universe shifted during "Cadillac Ranch" at a Springsteen concert. Their current focus is on songwriting, finishing their second album, nurturing their musical connection and sharing it with anyone who has ears.
